CommerceXpand Brings New Apps to Enhance Customer Experience

30 september 2021, Ahmedabad - AppJetty is a software add-ons store located in India. They specialize in extensions, plugins, themes, and apps for Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, Dynamics, SugarCRM, SuiteCRM, and Odoo. In their last month’s roll-out, they launched a bundle of standalone apps for CommerceXpand, their all-in-one Shopify app.

This month, they have added six new apps: Currency Switcher, Best Seller Protection, Order Export, Announcement Bar, Facebook Messenger Chat, and Recently Viewed Products in its latest version. While Currency Switcher helps enhance the customer shopping experience, the latter two help speed up the store operations and protect the content from content thieves. Announcement Bar, as the name says, keeps customers updated with the latest happenings. Facebook Messenger Chat provides customers a live chat experience and Recently Viewed Products displays the products customers have actually viewed.

Currency Converter auto-converts the original price into the customer's home currency. For a better experience, it allows customers to choose the currency from the drop-down option manually. Best Seller Protection adds an extra layer of protection to the store. It disables the best-selling sort option and prevents content such as product descriptions, images from being stolen by your competitors. Shopify Order Export makes exporting all the store data in CSV and Excel formats easy and convenient. At the same time, Announcement Bar notifies customers about the latest updates, promotions, and shipping-related information while Recently View Products give customers the overview of their recent search list and viewed products. Facebook Messenger Chat allows customers to communicate with the support team directly from the native messenger app.

"Many businesses are expanding globally and have to deal with multiple currencies and several competitors," said Maulik Shah, the CEO. "To help them improve the comfort level of customers, we have added a Currency Switcher app that will convert the default currency into customers' by auto-detecting the location. Recently Viewed Products will help businesses optimize their sales funnel.    With an Announcement Bar, retailers can keep customers in the loop and manage customer relationships. Our new add-ons - Best Seller Protection, Order Export, and Facebook Messenger Chat further help in-store protection and personalization with live-chat, quick export, and disabled sorting option."

"We often see retailers struggling with multiple third-party integrations while expanding globally. Hence, we have upgraded our CommerceXpand - an all-in-one Shopify app for retailers. The six newly added apps are Currency Converter, Best Seller Protection, Order Export, Announcement Bar, Facebook Messenger Chat, and Recently Viewed Products.

Our Currency Switcher and Recently Viewed Products app helps retailers optimize their sales and conversions. With Best Seller Protection, they can prevent competitors from snooping around. Order Export makes the data export safe, quick, and convenient. Announcement Bar helps build customer loyalty whereas Facebook Messenger Chat, we believe, will help businesses stay available for their customers all the time. Like these, there are several other apps in the pipeline such as Import Product Reviews, Volume Discounts, and more that we are planning to roll out in our next updates," said Namita Sheth, the Product Owner.

She further added, "We are sure that these apps will optimize Shopify stores for better customer experience and increased sales."

The mobile app closely integrates with the Credgenics web platform and allows features like navigation to the applicant provided address, direct calling of borrowers, geo-tracking of the agent’s live location, logging collection details (like recovered amount, collection mode and status for successful and failed recoveries), collection and visit proof, single & multiple loan deposit to the lender’s bank/company branch, and collection receipt’s integration with the communication channels like Email,  SMS, WhatsApp, etc.

AppViewX Launches Its Next Gen Machine Identity Automation Platform as a Service to Simplify Public Key Infrastructure PKI

AppViewX, the leader in secure machine identity management and application delivery automation, today announced the launch of The Next-Gen Machine Identity Automation Platform™, consolidating its security automation solution for certificates, keys, IoT security and SSH access management across multi-cloud environments. The platform enables microservices and zero-trust with service mesh, making the entire system more flexible, adaptable, efficient and agile. It is available to all AppViewX users as a service and can also be deployed in the public cloud, private cloud or on-prem environments. Powered by AppViewX CERT+, the enhanced platform addresses security compliance driven by exponential growth in machine identities by enabling certificate and key provisioning through auto enrollment and ensuring end-to-end visibility. AppViewX is a leading choice for enterprises who are looking for machine identity management solutions grounded in security and automation with native workflows.

“In our recent CISO survey, we found 96% of those who say their organization doesn’t hold full awareness of certificates and keys have experienced consequences as a result,” said Gregory Webb, CEO at AppViewX. “Managing Machine Identities has never been more critical to enterprises than right now. Enterprises should pay attention and put these critical application and hardware identities to work without the risk of unplanned outages or security and audit incidents in order to accelerate the journey to crypto agility. I am confident that The Next-Gen Machine Identity Automation Platform will help users successfully address the increasing demands of Digital Transformation initiatives with increased speed, security and simplicity.”

According to the recent Next-Gen Machine Identity Management Report commissioned by AppViewX with Vanson Bourne, 96% of those who have fully implemented Machine Identity Management-as-a-Service (MIMaaS) have full awareness of certificates and keys across their digital assets, compared to 37% of those who have started to implement it, and 28% of those who have not started yet, but plan to. This clearly demonstrates the value of having a solution that scales with an organization’s needs to support and adopt next-gen advancements in machine identity management.

The Next-Gen Machine Identity Automation Platform is equipped with many compelling attributes for delivering security with simplicity through automation:

  • Certificate Lifecycle Automation with Smart Discovery capabilities discovers unknown certificates and keys across heterogeneous environments
  • Certificate Lifecycle Management-as-a-Service (CLMaaS) helps instantly scale to large volumes of certificates, with instant access to ready-to-consume CLM, anywhere and at any time
  • PKI-as-a-Service (PKIaaS) is an easy-to-consume, quick to deploy, scalable and highly secure PKI integrated with enterprise-grade CLM
  • Central Management of SSH Keys and Certificates secures and automates their lifecycles across an enterprise
  • IoT Certificate Management with one-touch provisioning and self-service device workflows keeps IoT devices secure in untrusted environments
  • Multicloud provisioning and deployment provides complete interaction and integration of CERT+ with various services of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

“The move to multi and hybrid-cloud and OT environments is not possible without a comprehensive approach towards machine identity. The volume of OT devices and potential certificate sprawl makes automation an absolute requirement,” said Larry Biagini, former CTO of General Electric and AppViewX Board Member. “With the launch of The Next-Gen Machine Identity Automation Platform, AppViewX automates and simplifies managing digital identities based on certificates and crypto keys.  Enterprises now have a comprehensive solution for their Machine Identity Management needs.”

Users can now get early access to the new platform, which will be generally available in November. The platform will work hand in glove with AppViewX CERT+, providing a more comprehensive approach for enterprises to scale their machine identity management. SGS Complimentary Webinar on Mold Prevention in the Softlines Supply Chain

SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, invites registrations for its complimentary webinar, ‘Mold Prevention in the Softlines Supply Chain,’ which will be presented on November 9, 2021.

This event addresses an important issue for the leather and footwear industry and provides an opportunity to find out more about mitigating the problem.

The causes of mold, and how it grows and spreads will be addressed, including issues in the supply chain such as safety and security of source, the condition of packaging and shipping containers and the management and control of warehousing.

The many constituent parts of the footwear supply chain make leather vulnerable to mold, with the biggest potential risks coming from staining and fat spurs. Damage is not always obvious straightaway, but it can result in increased costs – from treatment, late deliveries, loss of sales and brand damage or product recalls.

Suitable for anyone in the leather and footwear industries with responsibility for quality control, the webinar is presented by Paul Bridge, Deputy Vice President, Connectivity and Products, Global Footwear and Leather. Paul has over 40 years of experience in technology and manufacturing of footwear and leather materials.
