Ari Retail Management Software Launches Tally Integration

Ari Retail Management software is a Web Masters' software product which the company has introduced to reduce the efforts required to manage a retail business. Apart from Ari Retail Management Software, the company offers jewelry solutions, customer relationship management solutions, and ERP solutions. Ari is designed in such a way that it can serve multiple retail types including, supermarkets, grocery stores, fashion retail outlets, toy stores, pharmacy stores, to name a few. Further, it is capable of handling a single retail store or a chain of retail stores.

Retail business deals with many customers every day. Those customers buy products and pay in cash, credit card, debit card, etc. For retail businesses, it is necessary to take care of every transaction and keep their books of accounts updated. Accounting programs such as Tally were introduced for such a necessity.

However, when transactions have taken place in retail management software, how they can be updated in Tally? This is an issue addressed by Web Masters using their synchronization feature in Ari. Let's check out what Web Masters Managing Director, Rahul Doshi has to state about the bridge between Ari and Tally.

"Usually, a user first needs to export the data from their retail management software and then import it to his Tally account. He requires conducting this process every time he wishes to transfer the transaction details. We have solved this issue by integrating Tally with Ari. Our application will directly transfer the data to Tally by eliminating the need of exporting and importing the data. All you need to do is to map the fields once, and data sync will be automated."

This is an effective way of transferring the transaction details. This even keeps the user interface uncomplicated as recording transactions and accounting are done on different interfaces. Further, there are many features that make the integration useful.

Microchip Delivers the Smallest Automotive maXTouch Controllers for Smart Surfaces and Multi function Displays

July 10, 2020, New Delhi, — To help enhance and ease today’s driving experience, automotive manufacturers are implementing additional touch displays beyond the center infotainment display (CID). Supporting the application of these secondary displays with advanced features, Microchip Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: MCHP) today announced the extension of its market-leading maXTouch portfolio with the new MXT288UD touch controller family, the industry’s smallest automotive grade packaged touch screen controllers. The MXT288UD-AM and the MXT144UD-AM devices offer low power mode, weatherproof operation and glove touch detection in multi-function displays, touch pad and smart surfaces for vehicles, motorcycles, e-bikes and car-sharing services.

Secondary touch surfaces can be placed in both the interior of cars and exterior of a motor vehicle, such as handlebars, doors, electronic mirrors, control knobs, the steering wheel, between seats or in an armrest. With the MXT288UD family’s small 7x7 mm automotive grade VQFN56 package, tier one suppliers can now reduce board space by 75 percent and greatly minimize the overall Bill of Materials (BoM) for these compact applications — all while exceeding the requirements for excellent and reliable touch performance in the market. The family’s low power wait-for-touch mode consumes less than 50 µA, remaining responsive for the user, even if the display switches off to save power or to avoid disturbing the driver at night. The system will wake by a touch event anywhere on the touch surface.

In addition, the MXT288UD-AM and the MXT144UD-AM devices enable detection and tracking of multi-finger thick gloves through a wide variety of overlay materials and thicknesses, like leather, wood or across uneven surfaces — even in the presence of moisture. Normally the dielectric constant of these overlay materials would limit the detection of the touch, however these devices provide a unique solution to reliably detect and track multi fingers with a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and through a proprietary differential mutual acquisition scheme. For example, in car sharing applications, this reliable touch functionality helps users access a car from the outside by tracking touch coordinates on an exterior display in any environment, like rain, snow or extreme heat. Motorcycles and other motorbike vehicles also benefit from such weatherproof designs. As a turnkey solution, the MXT288UD family provides proven firmware, developed according to Automotive SPICE® processes and is AEC-Q100 qualified — making it easy for today’s automotive manufacturers to integrate into existing systems at a lower risk with faster time to market.

“Automotive OEMs are looking to enhance the user experience through smart surfaces and multi-function displays, while still providing a convenient and distraction free environment,” said Fanie Duvenhage, vice president of Microchip’s human machine interface and touch function group. “Addressing these needs in the market, Microchip is building on its already leading portfolio of automotive touchscreen solutions with the new MXT288UD touch controller family — bringing increased performance and cost savings to the industry’s smallest package of automotive grade touch controllers.”

Development Tools and Design Services

Both software and hardware support are available. Software tools includes maXTouch Studio and a maXTouch analyzer. For the MXT288UD, the hardware offered includes an evaluation kit with a printed circuit board (PCB) and a 5” capacitive touch panel, while the MXT144UD’s evaluation kit includes a PCB and a 2.9” capacitive touch pad. For both devices, a bridge PCB is included with a USB connection for interfacing to a computer when running maXTouch Studio.

To help with the development and tuning of touch sensors and integration into the final application, Microchip’s touch function group and field application engineers provide best-in-class, worldwide support.

Microchip Releases Major Update to BlueSky GNSS Firewall Software to Strengthen Global Navigation Satellite System GNSS Protection

New Delhi, July 13, 2020 – Critical infrastructure systems including power utilities, financial services, mobile networks and transportation rely on Global Positioning System (GPS)-delivered timing to ensure ongoing operations. Microchip Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: MCHP) today announced the release of a major software update for its BlueSky GNSS Firewall product, providing a higher level of resiliency against GPS vulnerabilities for systems dependent on GPS signal reception.

Microchip’s BlueSky GNSS Firewall Software Release 2.0 performs real-time analysis to detect jamming and spoofing for protecting reception of the GPS signal and hardening response and recovery to avoid signal disruption. BlueSky GNSS Firewall Software Release 2.0 includes charting and advanced threshold settings of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) observables such as satellites-in-view, carrier-to-noise, position dispersion, phase time deviation and radio frequency (RF) power level to simplify system turn-up and deployment.

BlueSky GNSS Firewall Software Release 2.0 includes improvements developed by Microchip as a result of participation in an industry live-sky testing event hosted by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate and open to all providers. Microchip’s participation in the DHS-hosted GPS Testing for Critical Infrastructure (GET-CI) events, with scenarios including spoofed signals, has helped the company to identify new solutions to prevent signal disruptions. Ari Retail POS Software Now offering Mailchimp integration

Web Masters is an IT company having branches in UAE, Singapore, Bahrain, and India. The company specializes in providing retail solutions and Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation. Ari is one of the products developed by Web Masters to provide ease to the retail businesses.

Retail stores face a hard time communicating with customers manually. About all the retail stores require constant communication with their customers. Whenever there is a new product launch, sales, offers, and important updates, conveying the information to buyers is tiresome, yet necessary. Ari POS, which is a retail POS system, has come up with a solution to this.

Ari POS has a back-office, which is a web-based application where all the POS related configuration takes place. Besides that, there is the point of sale system from where sellers conduct transactions. Ari has recently introduced Mailchimp software integration, and one can configure it through the back-office. The Mailchimp is a web-based application that has a wide range of functions. Mailchimp allows you to conduct behavioral targeting, find lookalike audience, create digital ads, send bulk targeted emails, and many more attributes related to branding and retargeting.

The Ari-Mailchimp integration will assist Ari customers in transferring the customer data from Ari to Mailchimp directly. With the provided data, the retail shops can retarget the customers by creating customer groups and emailing them. The best of all is, Mailchimp integration and Mailchimp account come for free. You can check more about the Ari-Mailchimp integration here - https://arirms.com/integrations/mailchimp

"Mailchimp integration will help retail businesses to reduce their retargeting cost and time, and at the same time strengthens the seller-buyer relationship," says Rahul Doshi – Web Masters Managing Director

"The customer data is obtained while the transaction takes place through the POS. The real-time synchronization allows Ari POS to transfer the data to Ari Back-Office instantly. You have the option to send the customer data from Ari to Mailchimp in bulk or one by one. It even removes the incorrect email addresses. Also, you can create customer groups as well," explains Jignesh Joshi – Vice President Technology and Product Design.

The Mailchimp is a proven solution for learning customer behavior and retargeting them with all that they are interested in. Integrating it with Ari will surely harmonize the customer data transfer. It appears to be one successful attempt in making the lives of retail businesses easier, hoping many more in the way.
