Lynbrook, NY, USA, March 6, 2021 -- Weiss Auctions’ first Toy & Train event for 2021, held online-only on February 24th, exceeded all expectations, especially in the exploding toy trains category, as 96 percent of all 500 lots found new owners in a sale that grossed around $200,000. It has inspired Philip Weiss, the owner of Weiss Auctions, to plan up to eight more train sales during this year.

“We’re getting in huge collections and we want to promote a category that’s obviously red hot right now,” Weiss said. “For the February sale, we had nearly 1,500 active bidders between our site (www.weissauctions.com), LiveAuctioneers.com and Proxibid.com. We’re always looking for new consignments, and I feel confident more great collections will come our way this year.”

The February auction featured the extensive S gauge collection of Frank Pisani, whose many rare and unusual examples included an exceedingly scarce and huge American Flyer dealer poster – 95 inches by 42 inches and made circa 1955 ($5,100). The poster was chromolithographed on two pieces of paper, then factory attached. The color was bright and it was in like-new condition.

The sale also saw the continuation of the incredible Neil Padron estate, with many high-grade American Flyer S accessories and post-war rarities featuring many unique pieces, prototypes, production samples, errors and separate sale items. Also featured was Padron’s extensive Plasticville O/S collection of an estimated 680 boxed kits and blister cards, all of them different.

That collection was offered as one lot and turned out to the auction’s top achiever, finishing at $8,100. The 680 or so kits were mostly boxed, with several blister and with peg board variations, type face and contents variations. There were kits in the collection that Weiss Auctions had never seen before, and no two were alike. Most boxes were nice and bright; nearly all were Plasticville.

Following are additional highlights from the auction. All prices quoted include the buyer’s premium.

Two other lots topped the $5,000 mark. One was an American Flyer S gauge smoke-in-tender Northern 332 steam locomotive, 1946 or 1947, with a bronze brake tank and a unique tender chassis ($5,400). The other was a nice boxed Lionel 2296W Canadian Pacific set from 1957, including the super 2373 CP F3 AB Diesel, all cars shiny and with original decals ($5,100).

Four other lots managed to reach $3,000 or better – all of them Lionel. They were as follows:

- A boxed Lionel anniversary set 1464W, 1950, including a 2023 UP Alco AA Diesels, 2481 and 2482 coaches; and 2483 Observation. All the cars matched nicely ($4,080).
- A fantastic Lionel black 2332 GG1 boasting a beautiful, unhandled satin patina, and the decals were 100 percent, as were the silver stripes and medium bright lettering ($3,960).
- An LN boxed Lionel 6817 Black Flat & Scraper, including a beautiful Alice Chalmers scraper on an unrun black flat with bands, plus a respectable perf window box ($3,360).
- A super scarce boxed Lionel Sears set 2347 C&O GP7 from 1965, made for Sears set 12885-500, with intact shell, original chassis and a good battery compartment ($3,120).

A hard-to-find American Flyer 24519 S gauge reel car, circa 1958, clean and with both brake-wheels, showing only light playwear, changed hands for $1,680; while an LN boxed 6500 Beechcraft Bonanza – the hardest of all the airplane flats to find – including the unnumbered flat with the white-over-red variation plane, all original and with a nice picture box, made $1,620.

A Lionel 1916 consumer catalog and envelope – the first one Weiss Auctions has ever seen and a nice example – complete with color center spread of the 42-passenger set over a bridge, went for $1,800. Also, a very clean, two-color 1913 Lionel consumer catalog showing some great Lionel pieces including trolleys, six with knobby 190 cars, 6-wheel 33 with ribbed cars, fetched $1,500.

A boxed Lionel 6357-50 Father & Son caboose, one of the harder cabooses to find (and the accompanying box even scarcer), produced only in 1960 for the Father & Son set, garnered $1,650. Also, a boxed Lionel 158 station set, a nice original owner item with a late 136 station and two #156 station platforms, plus wrapping paper, boxes and platform inserts, hit $1,440.

A super clean Lionel 6464-150 MP first panel boxcar having a type IIA body with a saw in the first panel, unrun and with a clean box missing a flap on one side, commanded $1,560; while a near-mint boxed Lionel 6816 flat with a light color dozer having a band and a rare insert on an unrun flat, displaying nicely with just a lightly shopworn perf window box, achieved $990.

An American Flyer 24016 MKT S gauge boxcar from 1958 having a clean satin patina with intact nibs and catwalks, showing some light playwear and missing its brake wheel, still made $870. Also, two variations of American Flyer 378 S gauge station figures – an early pastel example and a later variation, both tied into display boxes and both set boxes nice, rose to $630.

A boxed American Flyer 274 S gauge freight station, the very rare green window version with the black roof, showing only light handling with a nice maroon lettered box, went for $600. Also, an LN boxed American Flyer 162 S gauge Mysto-Magic Factory, a great example, made $576.

March is the Color Therapy Month and “Prismatic Dojo” just went viral from Germany, France, Italy, United Kingdom and East Coast USA. It is the latest music experiment by Artists and Producers Veronica Vitale and Patrick Hamilton.

Los Angeles, CA - USA | March 04, 2021 -- March is the Color Therapy Month and “Prismatic Dojo” just went viral from Germany, France, Italy, United Kingdom and East Coast USA. It is the latest music experiment by Artists and Producers Veronica Vitale and Patrick Hamilton. PRISMATIC DOJO “THE ALL COLORS THEORY” is a contemporary experiment between color gradients and music frequencies brought together to heal the mind and soul. Every volume collects the tales of different shades of color.

As we suggested in many other articles the best way to support these artists is to go on Spotify, follow the link and listen to it all the way throught! Here’s the direct link https://sptfy.com/prismaticdojo

Prismatic Dojo is now surprisingly playing in many art and yoga center, gym, thai resturant and meditation groups, even shared on whatsapp and zoom calls for those facing lockdown restriction yet in search of peace and serenity. It was even shared in many color theraphy groups and celebrated beause of the month of March is known as color theraphy month.

Prismatic Dojo has gained 2 million streams thanks to the loyal fanbase built over10 years career by the italian artist Veronica Vitale, and the latest social media tools now available such as IG STORIES, influencers Support, Reels and Viral Content Share on Facebook, in addition to the countless people met during the filming of her new documentary “25000 Miles Across America” which is aimed to be released on the Exclusive Amazon Prime Tv Series.

Fun Fact is that every piece of music was composed in a room filled with color changing screens and LED lights to provide a variety of colors to change the vibe of the room completely. It is an original spontaneously performed musical masterpiece, recorded live without any pre-existing score or prior rehearsal. It's a journey and a work of art that starts right at the door of the Soul’s Chambers and fits perfectly in the field of positive psychology. Artist Veronica Vitale and Patrick Hamilton head straight for “the zone” an area that people only enter when their passion sets them into a euphoric trance. In this place you experience the flow state where an artist talent is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus. The artist is fully involved, and immersed in the essence of the “flow”; characterized by the complete absorption in what one does, and often resulting in the transformation of one's sense of time - while truly enjoying in the process of the activity. Prismatic Dojo is familiar to the Chromesthesia Concept but different in understanding how rather than a color influence on an already existing sound how this color itself influences the production of a complete new music of music. Simply put, rather than sensory influence, how does it effect sensory creation.

"I love to share with my fans what did I do to go viral on internet especially when it comes about music and particular projects like this one. First thing I involved my entire instagram community which counts close to 50 thousand followers, IG Stories and Reels which are a very powerful tool and of course my loyal fanbase on Facebook. They were all very happy when we released on every music platform, especially Spotify as it seems to be the go to of all generations. My fans text me every day about the good feelings they get listening to Prismatic Dojo, especially the ones from the United States. I started from scratch 10 years ago in the States and now, as Italian myself, it’s really uplifting to know that so many people around the Globe are listening to my music and our efforts. I’m looking forward to set a few dates in New York, Chicago, Phoenix, Paris and Milan as most of my audience comes from these beautiful areas" – says Artist Veronica Vitale.

"One of the interesting things we keep hearing from people is how their favorite color tends to be the same favorite color in sound! Another funny thing is to go to some Thai Restaurant and find our music playing in the background. The other day at the gym, that’s what happened, people were training listening to our music!” – says Artist Patrick J Hamilton

"While recording, We were walking through some sort of dream, an alternative reality, Music of an almost other-worldly beauty brought us in this spiritual world made of fantasy, dreams, where everything is possible" – says Veronica Vitale.

Prismatic Dojo is recorded as a whole concept but divided in 2 minutes track and presented to you like a passage, chapters. From night to dawn, form red to blue, from celtic ancient ages aand old legends to whales floating in deep oceans. From tales of star-crossed lovers and exile, to soldiers singing gregorian chants and hymns like Hail Holy Queen ( “Salve Regina” ).

Beachwood, OH, USA, January 28, 2021 -- Guys who messed up at Christmas will get a chance to right the ship in an online-only Valentine Jewelry Auction slated for Saturday, February 6th, at 12 noon Eastern time. “This sale is a tasty offering of fine jewelry priced just right for your special sweetheart’s Valentine’s Day gift,” said Cynthia Maciejewski of Neue Auctions, located outside of Cleveland.

Internet bidding for this timed auction is being provided by LiveAuctioneers.com. Absentee bids will be accepted. Gallery previews are by appointment only. For an appointment, call 216-245-6707. Masks are required of everyone. There are no walk-ins allowed, due to a spike in cases of COVID-19. The Neue Auctions gallery is located at 23533 Mercantile Road, Beachwood, Ohio.

An expected top achiever in the 142-lot auction is a beautiful marked Art Deco period diamond and platinum bracelet with a bezel set central marquise diamond flanked by twelve channel set baguettes and ten additional smaller marquise diamonds, plus dozens of single and full cut round brilliant diamonds. The marquise stones are approximately VVS, H-I color and well-matched. The workmanship is superb and the bracelet looks beautiful on the wrist (est. $15,000-$20,000).

The runner-up top lot could be a battle between an 18kt Italian yellow gold and enamel double-headed lion flexible bracelet with ten small round accent diamonds, the lions having small ruby eyes (est. $6,000-$8,000); and an antique Colombian emerald, gold, diamond and platinum brooch with a bracelet top and a center oval-cut emerald of between 4 and 5 carats, surrounded by twelve old European cut diamonds on an openwork diamond base (est. $5,000-$7,000).

Diamond rings are a can’t-miss Valentine’s Day gift (or engagement surprise). Two rings sure to please are a 14kt white gold and diamond three-stone ring having a center round brilliant cut diamond of about 2 carats (est. $2,000-$4,000); and a platinum Tacori fancy natural light yellow diamond ring, 1.02 carats, with a modified rectangular brilliant cut, SII clarity, set in a platinum mounting encrusted with pave diamonds towards an open tulip-like setting (est. $1,500-$2,500).

Few stones make as bold a statement as a ruby. An 18kt yellow gold, diamond and ruby ring, centered by three oval-shaped faceted natural rubies of .40 carats, with five small cut round diamonds at each side, in a simple gold band, should fetch $1,000-$2,000; while an 18kt yellow gold, ruby and diamond ring having a cushion-cut ruby of about 1 carat and surrounded by ten smaller round brilliant cut diamonds, in a wide gold band, is expected to bring $1,000-$1,500.

Sapphires are also striking and beautiful. Two lots with identical estimates of $2,000-$4,000 are a 14kt yellow gold sapphire and diamond fancy ring with a 2-carat center oval-cut sapphire, centered by two pear-shaped sapphires of .5 carats each, surrounded by 30 small round brilliant cut diamonds; and a vintage Boucheron (Paris) platinum diamond and sapphire cocktail ring with a .75-carat sapphire center stone, 32 baguette diamonds and eight small round faceted sapphires.

The bangle bracelets category features a 14kt yellow gold emerald and diamond hinged bangle bracelet, the top set with 14 small round cut emeralds alternating with 15 pairs of small, round-cut diamonds, stamped 14kt (est. $2,000-$2,500); and a 14kt yellow gold and diamond bracelet with a hinged squared bangle centered by three round brilliant cut diamonds of about .15 carats each, the bracelet arms holding thirteen open set small round cut diamonds (est. $1,500-$1,800).

The catalog boasts diamond pins and pendants galore. Examples include a platinum and diamond bar pin from circa 1900, having a straight bar pin set with about 1.5 carats of old European cut diamonds, in very good condition (est. $1,500-$2,500); and a circa 1970s 14kt yellow and diamond pendant, offset open squared form channel set with 22 small round diamonds and one modern round brilliant cut diamond, about 1 carat, J color and VS2 clarity (est. $1,500-$2,500).

There are rings and there are instant attention-getters. The latter category features a vintage 18kt gold lion mask ring having a gorgeous yellow gold lion face with emerald eyes and a full cut accent diamond in the mouth, 13.1 dwt (est. $1,200-$1,500); and an authentic Gucci 18kt white gold mesh ring with three rows of a flat mesh in 18kt white gold with a high polish, hallmarked on the interior, originally purchased from Mann Jewelers, with a 10.2 dwt (est. $900-$1,200).

The rings get even wilder with presentation examples that are up for bid. A 10kt yellow gold ring presented by FedEx as a Safe Driver award, with a full cut VS diamond in the center of about .25 carats and 30 points, and a dwt of 10, should gavel for $750-$950; and a 10kt yellow gold Interstate Battery racing ring, with a white gold center surrounded by small accent diamonds, having an approximate dwt of 18.5, ring size 10, carries a pre-sale estimate of $1,200-$1,500.

The Chanel name and logo have undeniable appeal and cachet. Two lots, both with $500-$1,000 estimates, are a Chanel yellow caviar Sevruga leather wallet on a chain clutch bag, with the distinct “CC” logo on the front flap, originally retailed for $2,000; and a vintage, circa 1960s Chanel quilted lambskin chain bucket with magnetic button clasp closure, gold hardware and gold chain link, showing the Chanel logo tassel with lambskin fringe, in very good condition.

A few other noteworthy lots are as follows, although there is much more to consider in the sale:

- A woven adjustable Victorian yellow gold and natural pearl ribbed bracelet centered by an enameled disc with a natural pearl center in a star mount (est. $1,500-$2,500).
- A pair of 14kt yellow gold, amethyst and diamond earrings, each one approximately 2 carats, with an emerald cut amethyst centered by 24 total diamonds (est. $1,500-$2,500).
- A 1950s-style Tiffany 14kt yellow gold and garnet pin of ribbed disc form, set with four prong set garnet stones, stamped “Tiffany & Co,”, weighing 12.10 g. (est. $800-$1,200).
